Most operators price by the hour with a minimum (often 3–4 hours), plus a per-cubic-yard pumping charge. Travel, setup, extra hose or pipe, washout and weekend or after-hours work can add fees. Larger booms carry higher hourly rates. Call two or three operators with your yardage and pour date for real numbers.

Match the boom to the farthest point of the pour, not just the height. A 32 m boom covers most homes and light commercial work; 38–47 m handles most commercial slabs and decks; 52 m and up is for high-rise, long reaches or pumping over buildings. See the boom size guide for vertical reach in feet.

In busy months, book as soon as your pour date is firm — often a week or more ahead for large booms. Compact booms and line pumps are usually easier to schedule on short notice.

The truck needs firm, level ground for its outriggers plus clearance from overhead power lines. Outrigger spread grows with boom size, so ask the operator for the setup footprint of the unit they're sending.
